The short version

R$ 50.46 a month for the Pro plan of 1,500 minutes; R$ 0.0336 for a minute of audio at that rate; $0 and no card for the free plan. The rate is R$ 5.046458, published on 23 October 2026.

The price by volume

Six lengths, one formula: minutes times the rate of the Pro plan. The second column is the result, the third one says how much of the monthly allowance the recording would eat.

The price of a recording in reais, by volume
The recording Price at the Pro rate Share of the allowance What it means
15 minutes R$ 0.50 1 % of 1,500 minutes R$ 0.50 at the Pro rate — and the free plan takes files this short.
30 minutes R$ 1.01 2 % of 1,500 minutes R$ 1.01 at the Pro rate; the longest file the free plan takes.
1 hour R$ 2.02 4 % of 1,500 minutes R$ 2.02 at the Pro rate; the free plan stops at 30 minutes.
2 hours R$ 4.04 8 % of 1,500 minutes R$ 4.04 at the Pro rate; the longest file any plan takes.
5 hours R$ 10.09 20 % of 1,500 minutes R$ 10.09 at the Pro rate; a long recording, sent in chunks.
10 hours R$ 20.19 40 % of 1,500 minutes R$ 20.19 at the Pro rate; split into files of two hours.

The volumes are minutes of audio, not the size of a file: one file may hold up to 64 MB and 120 minutes on every plan.

Payments go through Stripe, so a card number never reaches our servers. A Russian or mixed Russian-English file is processed on our own engine, outside the United States; a file that is entirely in English is passed to a third-party cloud speech provider in the United States when that fallback is enabled on the server.

Questions about the price

Do you translate the audio as well?

No translation is needed and none is made. The service transcribes the recording in the language it is spoken: Russian or English. The transcript comes back as text with timecodes, in the language of the audio. If you need a translation into a third language, that is not part of the plan — write to support@transcrib.si and ask before you upload.

How long can one recording be?

Yes. One file may be up to 64 MB and 120 minutes on every plan, Pro included. The Free plan is stricter: files of up to 30 minutes, three a day. A longer recording is cut into parts — the guide on long recordings shows how, and the API does it with chunked uploads.

Is Russian transcription good?

The engine was built for Russian speech and for mixed Russian-English audio, and that is what the model profile is tuned for. Russian and English are the two transcription languages; the answer states whether the language was set by you or detected. Privacy follows the language of the file: Russian and mixed files are processed on our own infrastructure outside the United States, a pure English file by a third-party cloud speech provider in the United States when that fallback is enabled.

How do I pay?

Yes, a card is all it takes. The payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store the card number. Nothing is charged on the Free plan and no card is asked for there. A paid plan can be cancelled from the Billing section of the app at any time.
