The volumes are minutes of audio, not the size of a file: one file may hold up to 64 MB and 120 minutes on every plan.

Rev is the only service of the list that publishes a price per minute: $1.99 a minute for human transcription and for human captions. Its AI minutes are sold as a subscription, and the page does not publish a price per minute for them.

Questions about the price
Do I need a translation?
No translation is needed and none is made. The service transcribes the recording in the language it is spoken: Russian or English. The transcript comes back as text with timecodes, in the language of the audio. If you need a translation into a third language, that is not part of the plan — write to support@transcrib.si and ask before you upload.
How long can one recording be?
There is a limit, and it is the same on every plan: 64 MB and two hours per file. Pro adds volume rather than a bigger file — 1,500 minutes of audio a month. The Free plan takes files of up to 30 minutes, three a day. Longer recordings are split into parts.
Is Russian transcription good?
The engine was built for Russian speech and for mixed Russian-English audio, and that is what the model profile is tuned for. Russian and English are the two transcription languages; the answer states whether the language was set by you or detected. Privacy follows the language of the file: Russian and mixed files are processed on our own infrastructure outside the United States, a pure English file by a third-party cloud speech provider in the United States when that fallback is enabled.
Is there a card needed to start?
Yes — a card, through Stripe. The number is handled by the payment provider and never stored on our side. No card is needed for the free plan, and on a paid plan the Billing section of the app is where the invoices live and where the plan is changed or cancelled.
