Before you pay
Will the transcript be translated for me?
Nothing is translated. Russian and English speech is transcribed, and the result is the text of the recording with timecodes. A transcript in a third language is outside the plan, so write to support@transcrib.si first if the job needs one.
Is there a limit on the length?
Two hours and 64 MB per file, on every plan; that is a limit of the service and not of the subscription. The Pro allowance of 1,500 minutes a month is the volume you may send within those limits. A file that is too long is split into parts and sent in pieces.
How well does it do Russian?
The site publishes no accuracy percentage, and we will not invent one: ask for the evaluation report and the sample set. What the site does publish is the model profile — tuned for Russian speech and for mixed Russian-English conversation — and the place where a file is processed, which depends on the language of the recording.
Which cards do you accept?
The site publishes no list of accepted cards, and we would rather point at the payment provider: the card is handled by Stripe, which decides which cards it takes and in which currencies. The Free plan needs no card at all, and the plan itself is paid in dollars.
