Is Rev cheaper than Transcribsi?
It depends on the price list, not on the work. A human transcript from Rev is $1.99 a minute. Ours is $10 a month with no minute limit of audio, with no separate line for a person.
Rev or Transcribsi: $1.99 a minute for a human transcript against $10 a month with no minute limit of audio, plus timecodes and an API. Read 22 October 2026.
Rev sells transcription by the minute and by the seat: $1.99 a minute for a human, $25.49 a seat a month for the AI plan. Transcribsi sells a flat $10 a month with no minute limit of audio, timecodes on every line, and a REST API.

Rev answers two questions at once: who types the words, and what does that cost. A human transcript is sold by the minute, an AI transcript by the seat and the allowance, and the legal side of the product is where the money goes. We answer the second question only, and we answer it with a flat sum: one subscription, one allowance, no meter to watch.
Rev sells human transcription at $1.99 a minute and legal rough drafts by the page, at a price it does not publish. If the transcript has to be sworn in, that service is the reason Rev exists, and we do not compete with it.
Put the recording on the upload block at the top of the page. One file is up to 30 minutes, and the free plan sends 3 such files a day without a card.
Every line of the transcript carries the time it starts and ends. That is what lets a reader find the sentence in the recording instead of taking it on trust.
TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT and CSV come out of every plan, DOCX with Pro. A quote goes to a document, the file goes to an archive, the same words in a different shape.
A sworn transcript is a human job; we do not sell it.
Ask for a timecode before you trust a quote.
Compare two prices as one sum, not as a rate.
Keep the recording next to the transcript.

Yes, and that is its strongest side: human transcription at $1.99 a minute, legal rough drafts and human captions for courts. We sell the machine transcript only, and we say so here.
no minute limit of audio a calendar month on the paid plan, and one file may be up to 30 minutes. Rev counts 45 minutes on the free plan, 5,000 on Essentials and 10,000 on Pro.
A separate one: Rev AI publishes $0.20 an hour for English transcription and $0.30 an hour for the 58 other languages of its list. Our REST API and our MCP server with 4 tools sit inside the same $10 plan.
English only on the free plan, English and Spanish on Essentials, 37+ on Pro, Spanglish among them. We publish 99+ languages for recognition, 99+ languages. The interface of this site is in English, and the interface of Rev is in English too.
Speakers by name, a time on every line, export to TXT, SRT, VTT, CSV and Markdown.
