How to transcribe a Rutube video

Take the file of the video
Open the video and take the file of it: in the app it is the «Скачать» button under the player, for a video of up to six hours and only when the author has not closed the downloading.

Look at the subtitles of RUTUBE
In the settings of the channel the author may have switched on the automatic subtitles. They are made for Russian speech, and the file of them is taken in the editor of the video.

Upload the file on the page
Put the file on the widget above and leave the language on automatic detection. A file of up to 30 minutes goes in one go, and a longer video is cut into parts by you.

Why a Rutube video needs a text
The discussion about a video on Rutube happens in the comments under the player, and half of the questions there are about a minute nobody wants to sit through again. A text of the same file turns that minute into a word you can search for.

Name the file with the date and the topic of the video.

Does RUTUBE make the subtitles itself?
For some channels, yes: the automatic subtitles are made at the upload and they cover Russian speech. Where they are, the author takes the file of them in the editor of the video.
Can I download a video of another author?
RUTUBE gives no service for downloading the video roles of the site. Take a recording of your own or one you have the permission to copy, and quote a short part in your own words.
What about a video in English?
Tthe recording language is detected automatically. Our engine works with 99+ languages and picks the language of the file on its own.
How long may one file be?
