In short

Tactiq writes the notes of a meeting it joins in Google Meet, Zoom or Teams; its Pro plan is €6.67 a user a month, billed annually. Transcribsi transcribes a file you already have: $10 a month with no minute limit, with an MCP server and agent plugins.

The case

A meeting tool and a file tool

Tactiq is a meeting companion: a Chrome extension for Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, a summary after the call and a set of integrations for the work that follows. Its plans are counted in transcripts and AI credits, not in minutes of audio. We read the pricing page of Tactiq on 22 October 2026, with the annual toggle on, and that is where the euros below come from.

The way to do it

How to send a recording to the engine

  1. 1

Decide if the meeting is live

Tactiq works inside the call, through an extension for Meet, Zoom and Teams. If the meeting already happened and only the recording survived, the extension is of no use to you.

  2. 2

Read what the free tier gives

Ten transcripts a month and 5 AI credits on the free plan, no card asked for. Ours is $0 with 3 files a day of up to 30 minutes, and the file limits stay the same on the paid plan.

  3. 3

Look at what the AI work costs

Tactiq measures the assistant in AI credits, 5 of them a month on the free tier. Ours measures the audio in minutes, 1,500 of them a month on Pro.

  4. 4

    See what you can automate

Tactiq lists an MCP server and a Claude connector as beta features of the Business plan. Ours ships an MCP server with 4 tools and plugins for Claude and ChatGPT, and they are not marked beta.

Tips

  • A transcript is not a summary: ask which one you get.

  • Credits and minutes are two different currencies.

  • Check the language of the meeting, not of the menu.

What people ask about Tactiq

Is the Tactiq free plan enough for a daily stand-up?

Not for a month. The free tier holds 10 transcripts and 5 AI credits, and there are about 22 working days in a month, so ten transcripts cover two working weeks and then the allowance is gone.

Does Tactiq have an API or an MCP server?

Its Business plan lists a Tactiq MCP server and a Claude connector, both marked beta. Ours is a REST v1 API and an MCP server with 4 tools, plus plugins for Claude and ChatGPT, on the $10 plan.

Why are the Tactiq prices in euros?

That is what the page showed us on 22 October 2026: €6.67 a user a month for Pro, €13.33 for Team and €25.50 for Business, all billed annually. The monthly sums were not in the version we read, so we do not quote them.

Can Tactiq handle a file instead of a meeting?

Its paid plans list the upload of a meeting file, so the file is not out of reach. For a one-off recording the file is all you have, and our service takes exactly that and gives back the words.
