Telegram bot · payment in Stars
Transcribe in the chat.
Pay inside the chat.
Send the recording to the bot, get the transcript back with a timestamp on every segment and the same export formats. The Pro plan is paid with Telegram Stars, so the payment happens inside the messenger: no card, no browser, no account to create first.
Stars are the currency of Telegram. We take them for the Pro plan.
A customer who has already opened a chat with a bot is usually not ready to open a browser, create an account and pay by card. Stars keep the payment where the work is: inside the messenger.
What Stars are
Stars are the digital currency of Telegram. You buy them inside the app and spend them on services inside a chat. When you pay for the Pro plan in our bot, Telegram takes the Stars itself — there is no payment provider between us and you.
Why we accept them
The payment stays in the messenger: no card data reaches us, no browser opens, and the thread between the recording and its transcript is never broken. The customer sees the invoice in the same window where the transcript arrives.
What Pro gives
1,500 minutes of audio a month, DOCX export, REST API and MCP.
The minutes are counted by the service. The bot records the payment.
The price of the Pro plan in Stars is announced in the bot.
One price, one place: the bot announces it, and this page repeats it — nobody keeps a number of their own.
Three steps, all of them in the chat.
-
Send /subscribe
The bot answers with an invoice in Stars. Nothing is charged until you confirm it.
-
Confirm the payment
Telegram takes the Stars from the balance of the account. The bot answers with a receipt: the plan, the sum, the date and the charge id.
-
Send the recording
The transcript comes back in the chat, with timecodes, speaker labels on request and the export formats of the plan.
What the chat looks like
/subscribe Payment received. Plan: Pro Paid: <the sum of the invoice, in Stars> Date: <the date of the payment> Charge id: <the id of the charge> The minutes of the month are counted by the service, not by the bot.

About paying in Stars.
What are Stars?
Stars are the digital currency of Telegram. You buy them inside the app and spend them on services inside a chat. The payment for the Pro plan in our bot is made in Stars, and Telegram takes them itself — we never see card data and you never leave the messenger.
Why do you take Stars at all?
Because the customer who has opened the chat is usually not ready to open a browser, create an account and pay by card. Stars keep the payment in the messenger, where the recording and the transcript already are.
What do I get for the payment?
The Pro plan: 1,500 minutes of audio a month, DOCX export, REST API keys and MCP access. The bot answers with a receipt — the plan, the sum, the date and the charge id.
What happens if I pay twice?
The second payment does not open a second subscription: the plan is already active and the bot shows its status. If you paid twice by accident, write to support@transcrib.si with the date and we will return the extra money.
What happens when the payment is refunded?
The access to Pro is taken away and the bot says so in the chat. The record of the payment is kept — a refund does not erase the history of what was bought.
Does the bot count my minutes?
No. The bot records that the plan is paid. The service counts the 1,500 minutes of the calendar month — that counter lives on the site and in the API, and going over it returns a clear error.
Is the price in Stars the same as the price on the pricing page?
The bot announces the price of the plan in Stars before it sends the invoice, and this page repeats that same number. It is written down once, in the configuration of the bot, and nowhere else.
