Comparison with a bot

Transcrib Si vs Transcriber Bot: a Telegram transcription bot compared honestly

Transcriber Bot is the most-used bot of the four: the transcription is free by the developers' stated policy, and it also reads text out of a photo. What it does not publish is a price list, a language list, a length limit or an export - the Star tiers are sold in the app and the price is not written down anywhere we could read. We publish our allowance, our limits, our formats and our price, and our Telegram bot is still in beta.

What we compared, and how

Every cell of the other column comes from a public page that was read on 24 October 2026. The last column of the table links to that page, so you can check the number yourself. Where a page could not be read, the cell says "no data" — we do not fill it from advertising, from a catalogue or from memory.

Our own Telegram bot is in beta. The handle and the link to it are placeholders in our own site data, and the status there is still "placeholder": the bot is not registered yet, it does not answer, and we do not promise functions it does not have. The web service, the REST API, the exports and the prices below are live today.

The facts about the bot: name, where it lives, who publishes it, when it was read.

Where Transcriber Bot is better

  • Free transcription. By the developers' own statement in their channel: the transcription is free and stays free, and the paid Star tiers buy extra features rather than access.
  • The most-used of the four. By the monthly user count on its profile, read on the day of this audit; the exact number is in the table below.
  • A photo too. It reads printed text out of a picture, not only speech out of a voice message.
  • A real project. A news channel for the changes and a separate support bot that forwards your message to the developers.

Where Transcrib Si is better

  • Everything is written down. The price of every plan, the minutes in the plan, the size and the length of one file, the export formats and the languages. Their profile publishes no language list and no length limit.
  • Formats. TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT, CSV and DOCX, with the speaker and the time in the CSV columns. No export formats are published for their bot.
  • An API and an MCP server. The MCP server and the plugins for Claude and ChatGPT. Their bot has no public API.
  • Minutes you can count. The allowance is measured in minutes of audio per month, not in Stars and not in characters.
  • Speaker labels and timecodes on the segment. The thing you need when a recording has to become a file and not a reply.

Who should pick which

  • Pick Transcriber Bot if you want a free bot for the voice messages in your chats, or if you also need to read printed text out of a photo.
  • Pick Transcrib Si if you need to know what a plan gives, if you need a file at the end, or if the transcript has to go into your own system.
  • Pick either if the recording is a voice note and nothing more. For that job both do the same thing, and one of them is free.
This is not a review. It is a comparison of facts we could read on public pages on 24 October 2026. We publish one of the two services and we have tried to state our own weak side as plainly as we state the other one.

FAQ

Questions this page answers.

What does Transcriber Bot cost?

There is no public price. The transcription itself is free by the developers' stated policy, and the paid tiers are sold in Telegram Stars for extra features; the price of those tiers is not published on any page we could read. The table above says the same thing instead of putting a number there.

How long a recording can Transcriber Bot handle?

The profile publishes no length limit and no language list, so we do not repeat one here. Our own limits are written down, in the table above and on the pricing page: the length and the size of one file, on every plan.

Does Transcriber Bot separate the speakers?

No speaker labels are published for it. We separate the speakers on request, and the label stays in the text and in every export.

Can I use Transcrib Si in my own system?

Yes. A REST API, an MCP server, and plugins for Claude and ChatGPT, all on the same engine and the same per-file limits as the web service.

Is the Transcrib Si Telegram bot running?

Not yet. The handle and the link to it are placeholders in our own site data, and the status there is still "placeholder": the bot is not registered yet, it does not answer, and we do not promise functions it does not have. The web service, the API, the exports and the prices are live today.
