A platform and a service
Maestra does transcription, subtitles, translation and dubbing, and it sells all four by the minute: $12 for 60 credits on the pay-as-you-go plan, then a subscription from $23 a month. We read the pricing page of Maestra on 22 October 2026 with the yearly prices shown, and the numbers in the table are the ones that were on it that day.
How to move a file to this service
- 1
Work out the price of your minutes
Maestra holds 180 minutes a month for $23 on Lite and 360 minutes for $39 on Basic. Ours holds no minute limit for $10, and one file is up to 30 minutes on every plan.
- 2
Separate the transcription from the rest
Maestra also sells subtitles, translation and dubbing, and 30 minutes of a translated subtitle cost the same as 60 minutes of a plain one. We do one thing: the words of the file, in any of the any of the 99+ languages.
- 3
Check what comes with the minutes
Basic adds an AI summary, a custom dictionary and file sharing, Premium adds API access and a second team member. Ours keeps the API, the MCP server and the exports on the plan that costs $10.
Tips
A credit is not a minute: read the two columns.
Paying per minute suits a test, not an archive.
Count only the minutes that have to be transcribed.
