The session that ends the recording
The free plan of Notta is where the service shows itself: two hours a month, but 3 minutes at a time inside one session. A recording of a quarter of an hour has to be cut into pieces, and the pieces are the limit you feel first. We count files and minutes and never a session, so a single long interview is one file and one upload.

On the free plan Notta allows 3 minutes per session, so a long recording has to be cut. Ours has no session limit: one file, up to 30 minutes, sent in one piece.

Send the file, not the link
We take a file rather than a link: put the audio on the upload block above. A YouTube or a cloud link is downloaded by you first and then uploaded as the file it is.

Ask who said it
Switch on the split by speaker and every line carries the name of the speaker and the time of the words. A meeting of three voices does not become one column.

Export and keep the record
TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT and CSV come out of any plan, DOCX with Pro. The transcript stays in your account, so a word can be corrected and the file exported again.

Does Notta translate the transcript?
Yes, monolingual translation starts at $6 a month and bilingual transcription with translation at $9 a month. We do not sell that: we transcribe what was spoken, in the language it was spoken.
