Is Sonix cheaper than Transcribsi?
It depends on the unit. Sonix Core is $25 a month for 5 hours, and pay as you go is $10 an hour. Our Pro is $10 a month with no minute limit, which is 25 hours of audio.
Sonix or Transcribsi: hours at $10 an hour against no minute limit for $10 a month, 54+ languages against 2, one workspace against a plain API.
Sonix sells hours, not minutes: $10 an hour when you pay as you go, $25 a month for 5 hours in the Core plan. Transcribsi bills the other way — $10 a month with no minute limit of audio, 99+ languages, and a file of up to 30 minutes.

Sonix keeps two clocks: the hours of transcription and the hours of its AI workspace, and a customer watches both. Add a seat, and the seat costs $25 a month but brings no hours with it. We keep one clock, no minute limit of audio a month, and the price of the plan does not move with the length of the file or the number of people in it.
Sonix sells 5 hours in Core, 20 in Advanced and 40 in Pro, and an extra hour costs $10. We sell no minute limit a month, and the minute is the unit you already count in.
Audio and video go on the upload block above. One file is up to 30 minutes, and a longer recording has to be split before it is sent.
When two people talk, the transcript should say who. Switch the split by speaker on and every line names the voice that said the words.
TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT and CSV come out of any plan, DOCX with Pro. Sonix offers DOCX, PDF, TXT and the two subtitle formats; we add Markdown and CSV for sheets and scripts.

54+ for transcription, and the same number again for translation. The interface of their site is in 10 locales, and that is a different count: a locale is the language the menu is written in. We publish 99+ languages for recognition, 99+ languages.
Yes: $25 a month for each extra seat, and the seats do not bring extra hours with them. We have no seat count at all — the minutes in the plan belong to the account.
Sonix keeps separate pricing pages for them, $880 a year each, with Enterprise on request. We have one plan for every customer and we do not sell a special version of it.
