Transcribe Estonian audio to text
Transcribe Estonian audio to text: our two engines, the file limits, the free plan, the export formats and who lists Estonian, 21 October 2026.
Our engine covers 99+ languages, and Estonian is not one of them. The rest of the service is language-neutral: 30 minutes per file, no minute limit, 3 files a day on the free plan at $0, 6 export formats, a timecode on every segment.
A good queue, and the wrong profile
An Estonian recording is not refused by the service: it is queued, processed and returned with timecodes, speakers and export formats. What we cannot promise is the words. Our model profile was built for 99+ languages, so an Estonian file comes back written in the wrong language — a fair test of the pipeline, a poor transcript of the speech.
The limits, and the language behind them
not covered by a profile of our own — the file is processed, the words are not Estonian

Five steps from an Estonian recording to a file
- 1
Split the file if it is long
One file is up to 30 minutes. Anything longer has to be cut into parts; the upload is refused with a clear error instead of being cut in half by the server.
- 2
Pick automatic detection
The widget asks for the language of the recording. Leave it on automatic: the guess took 0.39 s on a short file in our own measurement.
- 3
Wait for the queue
Short files were transcribed in 0.84 s in our own measurement. Longer recordings go through a queue, and the app shows the status line by line.
- 4
Fix the names in the app
Every segment has a start and an end time. Speaker labels sit separately, and a wrong name is one click to repair before the export.
- 5
Take the format you need
TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT, CSV and DOCX come out of the same transcript. DOCX belongs to the Pro plan, $10 a month paid yearly.
Tips
Estonian audio inside an English sentence is a mixed file: name the language by hand.
Personal names and street names are the first things to check in the result.
Keep the original recording; a second run on the free plan costs nothing.
Ask for the evaluation report before you hand over a long recording.
