How to transcribe a WhatsApp voice note

    Save the note from the chat

    Forward the voice note to yourself or save it to the files of the phone, and there is a file to upload. The service does not connect to a chat and never reads one.

    Drop the file on the widget above. A note is short, and the limit of 30 minutes per file on the free plan, no minute limit is far above that.

    Read the words of the note

    The transcript comes back line by line, with the start and the end time of each line, and with the speakers named when the split is on.

A note you have to listen to again

A voice note arrives in the chat as a file with a wave on it. It has to be listened to from the beginning every time, and it cannot be searched, quoted or pasted into a document. Save the note as a file and hand it to the service, and what comes back is the same voice in text: line by line, with the time of every line, ready to be read in a second instead of heard again.

Can the service read a WhatsApp chat?

No. There is no connection to WhatsApp and no account of ours in your chats. You save the voice note as a file and upload it, and the chat stays where it is.

What if the note is in another language?

We support 99+ languages, and a mix of the two. Leave the detection on in the widget and the language is picked from the audio of the first lines.

How long can a voice note be?

One file is 30 minutes and has no minute limit. On the free plan a file may be 30 minutes, which covers a note of any length that fits in a conversation.

What does a competitor give for free?
