Two interviews, the same questions, a fair comparison
Two candidates are interviewed with the same ten questions, and the notes of one of them are always better than the notes of the other. A transcript removes that asymmetry: the answers of both sit in the same form, with the timecode of every sentence and the voice of every person named, so the comparison is about what was said and not about who wrote faster.

How to transcribe an interview

Record the interview with the consent
Tell the candidate that the call is recorded and keep the recording. One file may be up to 30 minutes.

Upload it and split the voices
Send the file to the widget above, set the language or leave it on automatic detection, and switch on the split by speaker.

Pull out the answers to the same questions
Search the text for the question and read the answer next to its timecode, so two candidates can be compared question by question.

Export CSV for a table with one row per answer, or TXT to read the two interviews one after the other.

Yes. With the split by speaker on, every voice gets a label of its own, so the question and the answer are never mixed up.
Is it allowed to record an interview?
That is a question for your own lawyer and for the laws of the country you hire in. Our part is simple: the file you upload is the file we transcribe.
How is a candidate kept safe in the service?
The recording and the transcript stay in your account until you delete them, the free plan keeps the transcript 7 days, and nothing is sold or used for training.
