In short

Upload the recording of the onboarding call and it comes back written out, with the time of every line and the seller and the client named apart. One file is up to 30 minutes; the free plan is $0 with 3 files a day.

The case

The call that decides how the client is set up

The first call with a client sets up everything that follows: what was promised, which side has to send what, and what the client thinks they bought. Nobody writes it down in full, because the call is half conversation and half typing. The transcript takes that part away: the whole call is text, one line per sentence, and the handover to the account manager is a copy and paste.

How it works

How to transcribe an onboarding call

  1. 1

Record the call with the client's agreement

Say that the call is recorded and keep the file. One call may be up to 30 minutes.

  2. 2

Upload it and separate the voices

Drop the file into the widget above, leave the language on automatic detection and switch on the split by speaker.

  3. 3

    Find what was promised

Search the text for the product, the price or the deadline and read the lines around it, with the timecode of the moment.

  4. 4

Hand the text to the next person

Export TXT for the body of the mail, DOCX on Pro for the handover document, CSV when the commitments have to be listed.

Tips

  • Ask the client to repeat the deadline they want to hear.

  • Name the file after the company and the date of the call.

  • Export DOCX on Pro for the handover to the account manager.

  • Keep the original recording, every timecode points at it.

Questions this page answers

Does the service write into my CRM?

No. There is no CRM here. The transcript is text you copy where you want it, and the account of the client is created by you.

Can the seller and the client be told apart?

Yes. With the split by speaker on, each voice gets a label of its own, so the promise and the doubt never end up in one line.

What if the client speaks another language?

99+ languages are the languages of the engine. Set the language yourself or leave it on automatic detection for a mixed call.

How long is the transcript kept?

Until you delete it in the app. On the free plan the transcript is kept for 7 days, and the audio is never sold.
