Is Catalan one of your languages?
No. The engine contract names 99+ languages, and the mix between them. A Catalan file is accepted and processed, but the transcript that comes back is not a Catalan transcript.
Transcribe Catalan audio to text: an interface language is not an engine. Our two engines, the limits, the prices and who supports Catalan, 21 October 2026.
A Catalan recording is a file like any other: up to 30 minutes, 3 a day on the free plan at $0. What we say is that our engine runs 99+ languages profiles, so the Catalan words come back wrong. A Catalan interface exists in the market: TurboScribe ships one.
Two different things travel under the word language: the language of the interface, and the language of the speech you want in writing. TurboScribe has a Catalan interface and states 98+ transcription languages. We have an English interface and two engines. Neither fact says anything about the other, so here is ours, in full.

A page in Catalan says the menu is in Catalan. It does not say your Catalan audio is transcribed by a Catalan model. Ask a vendor for the engine list, not for the menu.
up to 30 minutes, mp3, wav, m4a or mp4. A longer file is split before the upload, never cut in the middle of a sentence.
The segments arrive with timecodes. If the words are not Catalan, you have your answer inside 60 seconds, and the free plan still costs $0.
TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT, CSV or DOCX. The last one needs the Pro plan, $10 a month paid yearly, and every plan keeps the same file limits.
Ask for the engine list in writing, not the number on the home page.
Read 60 seconds of the result before you pay for an hour of it.
Catalan and English in one file are two jobs; check the speaker labels.
A file 30 minutes on the free plan is split, never silently truncated.
The bot link on this page sends the same file to the Telegram bot.

A Russian or mixed file stays on our infrastructure outside the United States. A pure English file may go to a third-party cloud speech provider in the United States when that fallback is switched on. Nothing is trained on it.
In our own measurement a short file was transcribed in 0.84 s, and its language was detected in 0.39 s. Long recordings go through a queue instead.
Yes, on request: speakers are named separately, every segment keeps its start and end time, and a wrong name is repaired in the app before you export.
Speakers by name, a time on every line, export to TXT, SRT, VTT, CSV and Markdown.
