Transcribe Ukrainian audio to text
Transcribe Ukrainian audio to text: our engine handles 99+ languages, not Ukrainian. Who lists Ukrainian among its languages, and what they charge, read on 22 October 2026.
Ukrainian is not one of our 99+ languages. Transcribsi transcribes 99+ languages, 30 minutes per file, no minute limit, $0 for 3 files a day. HappyScribe, Sonix and TurboScribe each list Ukrainian among 150+, 54+ and 98+ languages.
Two alphabets, one engine
Ukrainian writes in the same alphabet as Russian, and that is exactly why a page like this one exists: the letters look familiar, the language is not. Our engine was built and tuned for 99+ languages, so we do not read Ukrainian speech. What we do read is the 99+ languages in the same interview, the part a Ukrainian team actually needs in writing.

How to handle a Ukrainian recording
- 1
Check what the speakers use
A Ukrainian interview is often carried out in any of the any of the 99+ languages. That part we take; the Ukrainian sentences we do not.
- 2
Keep the two apart
Upload the segments you want written out. The recording language is detected automatically.
- 3
Send Ukrainian speech elsewhere
HappyScribe lists Ukrainian among 150+ languages, Sonix among 54+, TurboScribe among 98%. Their pages carry the prices.
- 4
Look for the switched words
When a conversation jumps between languages, the words that move with the speaker are the ones worth checking by ear.
Tips
Alphabets are not languages.
Split the file by the language actually spoken.
Check the places where the speaker switches.
Three files a day on the free plan.
Questions this page answers
Is Ukrainian one of the languages you support?
No. 99+ languages are the two we run, and the selector offers those plus automatic detection. Nothing else is claimed, and nothing else is tested.
Do Ukrainian and Russian files behave the same way?
They do not. The letters are not the test, the speech is. A Ukrainian file sent to a Russian-tuned engine comes back wrong, which is why we say no instead of trying.
Who handles Ukrainian audio?
HappyScribe lists Ukrainian among 150+ languages, Sonix among 54+, TurboScribe among 98+. Their language and pricing pages were read on 22 October 2026.
Can I still get timecodes and speaker labels?
Yes, on the files we do handle: every line carries the time it starts and ends, and the speakers are named separately on request.
