About

We built the service we could not find.

Publisher: Transcrib Si.

Every speech-to-text tool we tried handles Russian like a guest: tolerated, not understood. The words come out, but the terms get mangled, the numbers turn strange, and a two-hour conversation in mixed Russian and English arrives as a wall of near-misses.

So we built Transcrib Si: a transcription service with our own engine, tuned for Russian and for the code-switched speech that real work produces.

What we believe

How we work

We are a small team. We write the software, we run the servers, and we answer the support mail ourselves. When something breaks, the person who can fix it reads the report.

We release in small steps, keep old behaviour working, and prefer a plain answer over a polished promise. If the transcript is wrong in a way that matters to you, we want to hear about it — send the file, tell us what it should have said, and we will look at the sample.

What we are not

We are not a meeting assistant that joins your calls, and we do not read your inbox. We are a transcription service and an API. If you need a summary, an action list or a search over your archive, the API and the MCP server will get you there without another product in the middle.

Who writes here

The guides and the comparisons on this site are written by Mark Burmistrov, who also runs the service and answers the support mail. Every number on a page says where it comes from: the service contract, the pricing page, our own measurements, or a public-information audit with the date on it. If a number was not measured, the page says so instead of guessing.

Start with the guides: transcribe audio to text, transcribe Russian audio to text, how to transcribe a meeting — and, in Russian, расшифровать аудио в текст and как расшифровать встречу.

Talk to us

Support questions go to support@transcrib.si. Team plans and API volume go to the same address with a short description of the workload. The contact page has the details.
