In short

Upload the recording of the viewing and it comes back written out, with the time of every line and the buyer and the agent named apart. One file is up to 30 minutes; the free plan is $0 with 3 files a day.

The case

The window, the boiler, the neighbour with the dog

A viewing lasts half an hour and decides the next month of somebody's life. The buyer hears that the roof was replaced two years ago, and the agent hears that the buyer is not ready about the price. Both details are lost by the time the notes are typed. The transcript of the viewing keeps every sentence with its timecode, and the notes of the deal are read from it instead of guessed.

How it works

How to transcribe a viewing

  1. 1

    Record the viewing

A phone on the table is enough. The file may be up to 30 minutes, and it is kept until you delete it.

  2. 2

Upload it and split the voices

Drop the file into the widget above, leave the language on automatic detection and switch on the split by speaker.

  3. 3

    Pull out what was promised

Search the text for the boiler, the price or the street and read the lines around it, with the timecode of the moment.

  4. 4

Write the notes of the viewing

Export TXT for the text, CSV when the questions of the buyer have to be listed, DOCX on Pro for the file of the deal.

Tips

  • Ask about the boiler, the roof and the neighbours by name.

  • Name the file after the address and the date of the viewing.

  • Keep the original recording, every timecode points at it.

  • Export CSV when the questions have to be listed for the sellers.

Questions this page answers

Can the buyer and the agent be told apart?

Yes. Switch on the split by speaker and each voice gets a label of its own, so the promise of the agent is not mixed with the doubt of the buyer.

Does the transcript describe the flat?

No. It holds the words of the people: what was said about the rooms, not what the camera saw. The size of a room is not in the audio.

How long may the recording be?

up to 30 minutes, the same on every plan. The free plan allows 3 files a day and 30 minutes per file.

Who can hear the recording of the viewing?

Nobody but you: it stays in your account until you delete it, the free plan keeps the transcript 7 days, and the audio is never sold.
