In short

Turkish has a market and a price list of its own: TurboScribe puts Turkish among its most accurate languages, Sonix publishes a Turkish page with 54+ languages, Notta has a Turkish tool. Ours takes 99+ languages, 30 minutes per file, no minute limit.

The case

A market that publishes itself in Turkish

The Turkish market is written in Turkish. The pricing pages are localized, the free tiers are printed there, and the human services quote a price per minute and a delivery time in working days. The machine services sell the language from the same pages they sell English from, and the numbers on both sides are worth reading together.

How it works

How to get a Turkish transcript

  1. 1

Read the Turkish page, not the English one

The same service can print another currency and another free tier on its Turkish page. TurboScribe shows $10 a month paid yearly there, and a free plan of 3 transcriptions a day, a file up to 30 minutes.

  2. 2

Weigh the machine against the human

Sonix prices its machine at $10 an hour and quotes $100 and more for a human hour of the same audio. Sayısal Ofis works the other way: a price on request, three to five working days for an hour.

  3. 3

    Upload the recording

A file of up to 30 minutes on the free plan goes up as it is, and the transcript comes back with a timecode on every line. That limit is ours, for 99+ languages, not for Turkish.

  4. 4

Read the numbers and the names

A Turkish transcript breaks on the names of the streets and the numbers of the prices. Read the beginning of the result before you trust the rest of it.

Tips

  • A Turkish page can print another currency and another free tier.

  • A human hour of audio is priced like an hour of work.

  • Read the head of the result, not the middle of it.

  • The machine price and the human price answer different questions.
